State Availability for Medications

Overview

Some ZipHealth medications are only available in selected U.S. states due to pharmacy regulations, prescribing requirements, and operational limitations. This ensures that all treatments provided are compliant with specific state-level healthcare laws.

State Availability by Medication Type

Unavailable States for Generic ED and Other Medications

We are currently unable to provide service for generic ED and all other standard medications in the following states:

  • Arkansas

  • Delaware

  • Mississippi

  • North Dakota

  • South Carolina

Unavailable States for Compound ED Medications

Compound ED medications are specifically unavailable in the following states:

  • Alabama

  • Arkansas

  • Delaware

  • Indiana

  • Iowa

  • Mississippi

  • North Carolina

  • North Dakota

  • South Carolina

Medication availability depends on:

  • Residence: You must reside in a supported state for your specific treatment.

  • Regulations: Local healthcare and pharmacy laws.

  • Clinical Review: Approval from a licensed healthcare provider.

  • Medication-Specific Rules: Specific prescribing requirements for certain drug classes.

Availability may change over time as state regulations and pharmacy operations evolve.

Why is availability limited to certain states?

ZipHealth medication availability varies based on a complex landscape of:

  • State Telehealth Regulations: Rules regarding how a provider can "see" a patient (e.g., phone, video, or online form).

  • State Pharmacy Laws: Regulations on how medications can be shipped across state lines or dispensed.

  • Prescribing Restrictions: Stricter controls on specific medications in certain jurisdictions.

  • Pharmacy Operations: The physical ability of fulfillment centers to service specific regions.

Does living in a supported state guarantee approval?

No. Living in a supported state does not automatically guarantee a prescription. A licensed healthcare provider must review your consultation and determine whether treatment is medically appropriate and safe for you.

What if my state is not listed?

If your state is listed as unavailable for a specific medication, that treatment is not available in your location at this time. ZipHealth frequently expands its availability as regulations and pharmacy operations change. We recommend checking back periodically for updated state availability information.

Additional Availability Information

Availability is not universal across all products. Some ZipHealth treatments are available nationwide, while others have limited state availability. Always check the specific product page for the most accurate and up-to-date regional information.

If you still need help after reviewing the information above, additional assistance is available.
